While Belgian brewers are typically known for their expressive ester profile and mixed fermentation, there's one Belgian brewery in particular that makes a beautiful Belgian-style lager that we used as inspiration for this very special beer. Guiding Star is an easy lager with aromas of lemon zest and fresh croissants. The smooth, crispy mouthfeel accentuates flavors of baking spices and cake breads with an herbal, spiced hop character that helps this beer finish with a clean, full bitterness. A portion of proceeds from this beer are going towards the Washington Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
