This collaborative IPA was brewed with our friends across town at Kulshan Brewing Company. Together we created a recipe, centered around a West Coast style IPA. Hopped with Centennial, Chinook and Mosaic, this beer has a firm, classic bitterness with a slightly dank blueberry note on the nose and finish.

87 years after B.T. and Leota Loftus founded our family’s hop farm in 1932, we harvested something new: our first-ever barley crop. Now in our second season as malt farmers, we are proud to share with you the Bale Breaker Homegrown Beer Series featuring 100% homegrown hops and 100% homegrown malts.
Release No. 7 in the series is a crisp, fruity West Coast IPA with hoppy tropical, grapefruit, peach, and pine resin notes. It features Pale and Munich homegrown malts made from Francin barley, a unique Czech strain new to the Northwest. We grew this beer.
