This unfiltered hefeweizen is largely exemplary for the style, however those not well versed in older German hefe may be slightly surprised at its darker, murky color. Do not let this fool you though, the nose exhibits humongous notes of classic banana and clove, but along with that comes an undercurrent of nuttiness and a light creamy sweetness.
